Service Writer Automotive Service Team
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Writer to join their team and ensure a smooth and efficient service experience for their customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers professionally and assess their vehicle service needs.
- Document customer concerns and relay detailed information to service technicians.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service completion.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area for a professional customer experience.
- Follow up with customers on completed services, answering any additional questions.
- Keep detailed records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including brake repair and general vehicle maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with customers and service technicians.
- Previous experience in auto service management or as a service technician is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong client relationships.
- Experience in upselling services and understanding customer needs.
- Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday Friday
