The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is seeking a Visual/Data Analyst to support our government customer at Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH or Remote.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with FESO’s data team to design, conduct, and lead visual and data analyses of operational studies on health surveillance data, health records, and other military records to reduce negative health outcomes affecting the USAF total force. Use judgment and originality to develop innovative solutions for complex situations.
2. Employ sophisticated tools like Tableau, SAS Viya, or Power BI to analyze datasets, create visual representations, and develop actionable insights to aid data-driven decisions.
3. Assist in data collection supporting USAFSAM/FESO’s mission.
4. Manage retrieval and integration of health information data, personnel records, deployment records, health surveillance registries, and other military data to produce interactive visual analytics.
5. Draft reports, prepare presentations, and meet project deadlines.
6. Update and generate new visual data reports for the IOS Dashboard on the Air Force Medical Service’s Knowledge Exchange site to help users track key performance indicators.
7. Present findings through briefings, reports, and scientific publications.
8. Apply scientific/technological knowledge to analyze complex issues and collaborate with stakeholders.
9. Assist in teaching the data analytics section of the IOS course as needed.
10. Provide consultation support at the base level.
11. Interface regularly with USAFSAM/FESO and HAF/A1Z leadership.

Qualifications:

• MPH, MS, or PhD in Epidemiology, Statistics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or similar.
• Advanced skills in population health data analysis and visualization.
• Proficiency in Tableau, Microsoft Office, SAS, and SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Current STINFO and HIPAA training.
• Ability to learn new tools like Python, R, SAS Viya, Power BI, or AI techniques.
• Willingness to sign an NDA.

Preferred:

• Experience with health and visual analytics related to USAF data.

Citizenship & Clearance:

• U.S. citizen; Green Card does not qualify.
• Pass a Tier 1/SF85 background check.
