Job Responsibilities

• Understand vehicle functionalities to diagnose possible causes of DTC
• Perform fault code analysis, work with Arbortext, DITA, XML, and automobile background experience
• Gather information from technical and non-technical Subject Matter Experts to develop technical service content
• Develop customer service fault code diagnostics documentation
• Use Arbortext and Adobe Illustrator for XML authoring and graphics
• Understand structured authoring (DITA)
• Experience in vehicle electrical/electronic diagnostics and vehicle diagnosis tools
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture, fault codes, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with electric vehicle fault diagnostics and safety precautions with high/low voltage connections
• Work within an Agile environment following Agile writing principles
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Write step-by-step diagnostic procedures and programming procedures for modules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in diagnostics troubleshooting/technical writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills across management levels
• Knowledge of automotive system theory, electronic fundamentals, fault diagnostics, and modern automotive systems
