As a
Senior Product Marketing Manager,
Surface Portfolio Strategy & Insights Lead
, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our innovative devices at the forefront of AI innovation and ensuring they meet the needs of our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for deeply understanding PC market dynamics, creating clarity on how Surface devices sit in the marketplace, and positioning Surface within the broader Windows ecosystem. This opportunity will allow you to exercise a data-driven approach to influence a strategic roadmap and hone your product marketing skills as you learn from a passionate team of storytellers.
This is a Puget-sound based role with an expectation to spend up to 50% of the time on Redmond campus.

Responsibilities
You will develop and communicate a clear positioning strategy for the Surface portfolio.
You will collaborate with others to develop a value proposition for Surface aligned with customer goals, and drive the development of a messaging and positioning framework.
You will analyze and interpret PC market trends and data to inform strategic decisions for the Surface portfolio and conduct assessment of industry trends across PC and silicon makers.
You will develop hypotheses on the future PC landscape and monitor AI advancements in the industry.
You will utilize data-driven insights to influence the long-term vision for the Surface portfolio and create cross-departmental partnerships to impact the product roadmap.
You will influence senior partners to align Surface positioning with the Windows ecosystem.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Data Analysis, Business Planning, Research & Insights or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Data Analysis, Business Planning, Research & Insights or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
OR equivalent experience.
2+ years experience working in or adjacent to the PC industry.
3+ years experience using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
(PQs)
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Data Analysis, Business Planning, Research & Insights or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Data Analysis, Business Planning, Research & Insights or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
OR equivalent experience.
5+ years experience working in or adjacent to the PC industry.
5+ years experience using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Passionate about technology and the PC market, with a knack for analyzing market dynamics and uncovering new opportunities.
Business leader with strong analytical skills and comfort with data and research.
Talented at simplifying complexity into clear storytelling and eager to sharpen storytelling and communication skills.
Thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working with diverse teams, and contributes meaningfully to an inclusive culture.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
