If you’re excited about a future where data drives smarter business decisions, we’d love to hear from you. The Role As our Director, Product marketing, this role reports directly into our CEO. You will operate as a one-person team—taking our product messaging, sales enablement, and technical assets from 0 to 1. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of data infrastructure, cloud platforms, and AI-driven solutions, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with enterprise and mid-market customers. Key Responsibilities Product Positioning & Messaging: Own and refine Nexus Cognitive’s value proposition, ensuring clarity and consistency across all assets. Technical Storytelling: Translate complex AI and data solutions into compelling, customer-centric narratives. Sales Enablement: Develop enterprise and mid-market sales materials, including decks, battle cards, competitive intelligence, and product FAQs. Product Documentation: Create clear and engaging technical documentation to help customers and sales teams understand our platform. Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research, track industry trends, and ensure our messaging is differentiated and compelling. Customer & Partner Enablement: Collaborate with product, sales, and engineering to ensure seamless communication of our solutions. What We’re Looking For 7+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise software, with a preference for AI, data infrastructure, or cloud platforms. Strong knowledge of open-source technologies, enterprise software applications, SaaS, databases, and cloud computing to be able to understand and articulate complex technological concepts. Experience at Palantir, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar tech-first organizations is highly preferred. Strong technical acumen—understands data, cloud, AI/ML, and enterprise infrastructure. History of 0 to 1 building and scaling successful global channel programs. Ability to work independently without direction–this is a foundational hire. Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. Experience working with enterprise customers and technical sales teams. Nice to Have Prior experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution architecture.
