We’re now on the search for an ambitious Account Director – Public Relations to join our New York team, who is passionate about working with innovative consumer, tech and lifestyle brands! The role you’ll play As an Account Director - Public Relations based in New York City, you’ll provide high quality strategic communications counsel, develop audience-first PR and social strategies and lead teams of ambitious go-getters to execute integrated campaigns and secure results. You’ll also get involved with agency projects, help grow the business and expand our services, all while acting as an agency ambassador. In return, you’ll be working with some of the most exciting and innovative brands who are truly disrupting traditional industries, have purpose-driven missions, and are looking to shake things up. To be successful in this role you’ll need 7+ years of public relations, creator marketing and social media experience, preferably at a PR agency Excited to work across a little bit of everything, whether its start ups or established brands, consumer, tech or lifestyle Experience leading and overseeing integrated communications campaigns and teams. From setting strategies, to providing strategic counsel to clients, and evaluating outcomes Proven team leadership, people management, and mentoring skills Have experience or a desire to work on new business, from proposal development to pitching and winning clients Be able to develop scopes of work and budgets, manage service levels with meeting deliverables, while keeping teams engaged and motivated Want to know more? Every Slinger also has access to an additional 2 floating days per year which can be used to observe dates and causes that are significant but not necessarily recognised by standard public holidays.
