Summary
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Assist customers with repair and scheduled maintenance service requests efficiently and effectively.
- Consult customers on needed scheduled maintenance repairs.
- Review root cause and corrective repair actions with the customer during vehicle delivery.
- Support the Service Manager by distributing work, maintaining repair records, supporting promotional activities, monitoring labor inventory, and complying with safety and environmental practices.
- Process after-hours drop-off vehicle information.
- Promote sales of labor, parts, and accessories.
- Review vehicle history, inspect vehicles with customers, and record observations.
- Determine causes of malfunctions, perform tests, and refer to technicians as needed.
- Provide estimates and communicate with customers about repairs and costs.
- Coordinate payment methods and obtain signatures.
- Discuss transportation needs and follow repair progress.
- Notify customers upon completion and follow-up for additional services.
- Maintain vehicle history files and follow-up systems.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Greet customers positively and timely.
Requirements
Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- At least two years of sales experience preferred.
- Technical knowledge of dealership products and diagnostic capabilities.
- Ability to understand and adapt to customer needs under pressure.
- Administrative skills for record keeping.
- Good customer relations, politeness, cooperation, and teamwork.
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and insurability.
