Devo is a privately held, hyper-growth SaaS company, and we are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Marketing who is passionate about cybersecurity, building strong connections with our buyers and partners, and making a positive impact on enterprises and the community.
Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Manager, Product Marketing to shape and elevate the messaging and market positioning of our data analytics platform designed for both cybersecurity and IT use cases. In this role, you’ll drive go-to-market initiatives, craft compelling narratives, and lead a small team that supports fast-growing channel marketing and customer advocacy efforts. You must excel at developing innovative messaging—using generative AI tools for content ideation, data analysis, and narrative optimization—to stay ahead in today’s evolving data and cybersecurity landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that clearly communicates our value proposition in the competitive data analytics and security markets.
- Create marketing content and thought leadership materials tailored for diverse buyer personas, including content specific to channel partners.
- Effectively nurture and develop a team of product marketers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture that encourages professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product management, sales, engineering, and the broader marketing team—to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution of product launches.
- Support our channel marketing efforts including partner-related content and messaging, ensuring our go-to-market strategy effectively leverages channel partners.
- Oversee customer marketing initiatives including customer advocacy, case studies, and our Customer Advisory Board (CAB).
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to adjust strategies and messaging in real time.
- Represent the company at key industry trade shows, building brand recognition and engaging with industry influencers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred
- 7+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity, IT monitoring, or data platform sectors, with a deep understanding of SaaS business models.
- Extensive experience in product marketing within the cybersecurity industry, with deep knowledge of security use cases; experience in IT monitoring or data platforms is a significant plus.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a proven record of crafting persuasive messaging and content.
- Hands-on expertise with generative AI tools to enhance messaging, content creation, and market analysis.
- Demonstrated success in developing go-to-market strategies and managing cross-functional initiatives in high-growth environments.
- Proven experience supporting fast-growing channel initiatives and executing customer marketing tactics.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience mentoring marketing professionals.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities.
