Overview
The Creative Director (CD) is responsible for overseeing the creative aspects of a project or organization. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in a creative field and excellent leadership capabilities. The duties of a Creative Director include developing strategies to promote creativity, leading teams to create innovative solutions, and providing feedback on projects. The Creative Director is also responsible for creating/approving budgets and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Snow’s business is centered around the patient journey, and the CD, like all positions at Snow, must embody empathy, compassion, and creative storytelling to portray the unique life experiences of patients and caregivers. The CD must be able to incorporate the unique patient/caregiver experience into the strategies and solutions we provide to our clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ACD/CD must be able to perform the following essential duties and functions:
- Developing creative strategies to meet organizational goals
- Leading teams in developing innovative solutions to complex problems
- Ensuring project deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to
- Mentoring ACDs and providing feedback on their work and responsibilities
- Collaborating with other departments, such as Programs, Accounts, or Ambassador Management, to ensure successful project launches or campaigns
- Evaluating new technology trends that may be beneficial for the organization’s projects
- Participating in brainstorming sessions with team members to generate ideas for upcoming projects.
The core of our business is working with patients. It is most likely that you will come in contact with Personal Consumer Information (PCI) of patients living with chronic illness. It will be required that you take training courses that include, but are not limited to:
- Snow Policy Training
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Adverse Event (AE) Reporting Training
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Training
Qualifications:
- Five to seven years of agency experience; healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical experience a plus
- BA degree (Advertising, Communications, Fine Arts or related field preferred)
- A proven track record of creative ability and judgment, successful client contact experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with other capabilities such as account management, project management, and more
- Must have experience in managing creative teams and multiple accounts and the commitment to go the extra mile in time and effort to produce the very best work
The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
