We currently have a unique opportunity to add a strategic collaborator to our senior team, with a focus on enhancing and promoting our established brand in the community. GENERAL SUMMARY
The Senior Vice President, Marketing is responsible for developing, overseeing, and executing the Bank’s marketing, public relations, and brand strategy. This role ensures corporate marketing objectives are met, and all business lines are supported. The SVP collaborates with all levels of management and plays a key role in sales, business development, and community involvement.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Leads the Bank’s strategies for branding, advertising and marketing communications. Collaborates with senior and executive leadership to help shape strategy.
Acts as a thought leader for brand and product marketing; digital marketing; social media; data-driven targeted marketing; marketing communications; marketing events and sponsorships; and public relations; in a manner that supports business growth, increased visibility, and is in line with the strategic vision of the Bank.
Manages all aspects of marketing plans, budgets, metrics, and reporting. Measures, analyzes, and improves correlations between brand, marketing, marketing research, business intelligence, internal data, and results to effectively measure strategies.
Monitors marketing trends and best practices both within and outside the financial services industry. Develops/maintains effective peer networks.
Enhances the Bank’s overall digital presence including the content, design, and performance of two corporate websites.
Manages the Bank’s social media presence and advertising, as well as related policy.
Leverages the Bank’s brand and develops content to support sales goals and customer needs, including ad copy, website copy, press releases, emails, and newsletters.
Oversees utilization and continued improvement of the Bank’s MCIF system. Integrates related data and insights into marketing and business development efforts.
Works with business lines to ensure marketing is aligned with growth and profitability goals. Assists with sales initiatives and provides tools for customer outreach.
Leads and mentors marketing staff. Ensures that the entire marketing team works closely and collaboratively with other areas of the Bank, as well as with external marketing agencies and partners.
Establishes and maintains partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses. Represents the Bank at community events and other public engagements. Coordinates and oversees community outreach programs and initiatives.
Manages external marketing, PR, and advertising agencies and vendors.
Participates in training and complies with all Bank policies and procedures as well as with federal and state banking laws and regulations.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Outstanding communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, MBA preferred.
10+ years of marketing experience. A financial institution background strongly preferred, including commercial banking and wealth management.
A proven history of working closely with both the front line and senior managers.
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
Mastery of digital marketing, including marketing automation, social media, digital content, and website management.
Solid knowledge of SEO and web analytics.
Advanced experience working with communications for varied market segments and target audiences.
Ability to motivate, influence and collaborate with others, both internally and externally.
Strong multi-tasking skills, being able to prioritize the most impactful activities.
Self-directed, with the ability to think strategically and execute programs independently.
Strong analytical skills, using data as a foundation for decision making.
Well versed in MCIF and CRM systems.
