Cadent is seeking an accomplished Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing to lead and elevate our company presence in the dynamic advertising and marketing technology landscape. Reporting directly to the President, this pivotal role will be responsible for defining and executing Cadent's global marketing strategy, focusing on external branding & positioning, robust PR/communications & content marketing and impactful event strategy & execution. This leader will play a crucial role in shaping how Cadent is perceived in the market, driving awareness, and generating demand for our predictive advertising solutions and platform. Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership Develop and articulate a comprehensive marketing vision and strategy that aligns with Cadent's overall business objectives, enhancing brand equity and market leadership. Partner with CEO and executive team to architect Cadent’s external narrative and brand positioning, ensuring consistency and impact across all public touchpoints. Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability. Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Solutions leadership to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated go-to-market strategies. Brand & Market Positioning Amplify the strategic positioning of the Cadent brand externally, clearly articulating our unique value proposition in the advertising technology marketplace. Oversee the development of compelling brand assets, messaging frameworks, and campaigns across all key platforms that resonate with target audiences including advertisers, agencies, and publishers. Continuously analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation and market expansion in partnership with executive & senior leadership Communications & Content Marketing Develop and implement a robust comms/PR strategy to drive attention, secure coverage, and enhance Cadent’s reputation as an industry leader. Lead content marketing efforts, including thought leadership pieces, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and multimedia content, to educate the market and support sales enablement. Ensure strong internal communications plan that fosters higher engagement and connected to company values, in partnership with HR and executive team Oversee social media strategy to engage with target audiences and amplify key messages. Events Marketing Plan, execute, and oversee national, regional, and custom events, including global industry conferences, webinars, and proprietary events, to maximize brand visibility, thought leadership, and lead generation. Ensure all events deliver exceptional experiences and effectively communicate Cadent’s value proposition to key stakeholders. Lead Generation & Account-based Marketing Develop and execute strategies to drive a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects, leveraging brand, content, and event-based marketing initiatives Design and implement comprehensive account-based marketing programs targeting high-value strategic accounts and key verticals, integrating personalized content and outreach strategies Collaborate with sales leadership to define and refine target customer profiles & key accounts, ensuring alignment between marketing campaigns and sales objectives Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities leveraging data and analytics to optimize marketing’s influence on revenue and continuously improve campaign effectiveness. Qualifications
12-15 years of progressive experience in B2B technology marketing, with a significant portion in a leadership role within the advertising/marketing sector (adtech/martech). Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing marketing teams in complex, fast-paced environments. Ability and desire to be hands-on in the execution of marketing initiatives from start-to-finish Deep understanding of the advertising/marketing technology ecosystem, including programmatic advertising, video & CTV, data platforms, omnichannel strategies and artificial intelligence. Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling, clear, and differentiated market narratives. Experience with product launches and execution of product marketing strategies externally Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of influencing at the executive and C-suite level. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and data-driven mindset, with experience leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency and impact in marketing. Expertise in communications strategy as well as, brand marketing, content strategy, event management, and digital marketing.
