Direct Insurance Sales Producer: Responsible for assessing client’s risk exposure to personnel, farm, crop, and/or commercial property, making appropriate recommendations and placing coverage to address those risks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Market and sell farm, personal and commercial lines insurance policies. Proactively contact all leads to recommend appropriate insurance, quote and place coverage. Identify and assess client risk exposures.
2. Develop relationships with local business owners in your territory, all real estate personnel, and mortgage brokers to maximize sales opportunities.
3. Manage your schedule and drive your success. Connect with business owners and key decision makers, showcasing your ability to understand their needs and offer superior insurance solutions that stand out.

What We're Looking For

1. Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles, especially in outside sales.
2. Ability to conduct comprehensive company training, both in-person and online.
3. Superior organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
4. A passion for empowering clients and a strong sense of responsibility for their well-being.
5. Property and Casualty Insurance License, or the drive to obtain it within 90 days (with our support).

Position Overview

1. Respond to general emails and phone calls from clients.
2. Set follow-up appointments with prospective and current clients to review their needs and submit to your sales manager each week.
3. Meet with sales team manager as needed to discuss and set your upcoming monthly and quarterly target sales goals and quotas.
4. Call on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients who need to be re-serviced: Selling Business to Business.
5. Build and maintain your own book of business.
