We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team as an Assistant Digital Editor. In this role you will focus on the development and delivery of multimedia educational content for health care professionals. Responsibilities : Content Development Develop original content (based on both website and journal content) as needed and directed, including but not limited to news summaries, interviews, videos, podcasts, roundtables, and quizzes. Research and monitor trends in the field to identify topics of interest to the audience. Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders. Monitor metric trends to assist in content development decisions. Assist in the development of publication content as needed. Support the planning and execution of conference coverage, including content development, interviewing, writing, editing written and video content, and publishing. Have a clear understanding of all editorial, production, and publication promotion schedules. Copyedit and fact-check assigned content in AMA style. Digital Production Develop clear understanding of the platforms e-newsletter process. Build, schedule, and deploy platform e-newsletters as needed. Work with the digital operations team to fulfill goals and content needs for sponsored campaigns. Develop working knowledge of HMPs content management system. Develop working knowledge of the platforms content types. Post select content on the platforms website following brand best practices. Social Media/Data Analytics Regularly track and report on website analytics. Work with management to execute the brands social media schedule and help identify content to post to social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter). Regularly track and report on social media analytics. Internal Collaboration Establish and maintain positive relationships with the editorial team, education team, sales team, and other HMP resources such as media production, marketing, and project managers Support The Collective team's campaign goals through active participation in meetings, newsletter development, and other strategic initiatives. Requirements: Minimum of a 4-year college degree in a related field (Journalism, English, Biomedical Science, etc.). Minimum 2 years of professional/internship/similar experience in publishing. Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills. Familiar with clinical content (preferred). Familiar with AMA style or similar style guides. Highly Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SEO best practices. Comfort with digital platforms; knowledge of content management systems. Experience with HubSpot or other content management systems (preferred). Understanding of digital content strategies. Proficiency in multimedia content development and editing. Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time with tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills. Good interpersonal and diplomacy skills. Travel to conferences and events as directed by management 6-8 times per year.
