Job Summary
The Special Education Teacher-Visually Impaired provides specialized instruction to students with visual impairments involving diagnosis, direct therapy, and consultation. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, the Special Education Teacher-Visually Impaired works collaboratively to determine eligibility for special education and mode and intensity of services. In addition, the Special Education Teacher-Visually Impaired works with other teachers and paraprofessionals to ensure that students receive appropriate services as determined by the IEP Team.
