Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Technical Designer & Project Manager (Fashion Design) on behalf of a growing fashion brand based in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technical designer with strong project management abilities to play a key role in design execution, garment construction, and workflow management in a creative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs with precise construction details, measurements, and materials.
- Oversee garment construction and fit approvals, ensuring designs align with the brand vision and meet quality standards.
- Manage high-level project costing, balancing creative design goals with company-wide margin objectives.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate creative concepts into technical specifications for efficient production.
- Work closely with factories and vendors to maintain production timelines and ensure quality control.
- Act as project manager for the design team, ensuring workflows, deadlines, and communication run smoothly.
- Foster a collaborative, organized, and efficient work environment.
What you will need
- 5+ years of experience in technical design, product development, or a similar role in the fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, and production processes.
- Proficiency in creating and managing tech packs.
- Experience with costing and margin management in fashion production.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and external partners.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM systems (preferred).
