Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Commercial Sector Studio Leader to join the firm as part of our Houston, TX team. Our Commercial Studio focuses on the design of great places to Work, Live and thrive. We are looking to expand our presence in the local market and are currently seeking a highly motivated individual who is willing to bring their skillset to lead and grow our presence and our firm within the local market.
We are seeking an individual who is willing to tackle this role alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate and create exciting spaces for our clients and our community. Lead and grow our Commercial Studio, focusing on designing great places to Work, Live, and thrive, and expanding our presence in the Houston market.
- Collaborate with Market Sector Leaders and leadership on project pursuits, maintaining existing client relationships and establishing new business.
- Maintain a commitment to design excellence, ingenuity, and outstanding client service.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to establish credibility in the commercial market sector.
- Inspire and motivate the team, develop their skills, and encourage professional growth to enhance our local presence.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients in Commercial Office, Mixed-Use, Civic, and similar projects.
- Manage fee generation and project opportunities, and lead proposal development and execution.
- Lead a team in designing and executing projects of various sizes within the Houston office.
- NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture and 12+ years of experience, including an established professional reputation in the market.
- Professional Architectural registration.
- Experience in commercial projects is required.
- Strong business development skills and networking ability.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and other graphics-related programs preferred.
- Involvement in business development and project management initiatives, with strategic leadership and presentation skills.
- Convincing conceptual design skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong communication skills to discuss project metrics, construction practices, and contractual terms with clients.
