Scope of Work Seed Global Health is currently seeking a short-term, part-time technical writer and editor to support Seed’s partnerships team, roughly April 1, 2025 – October 1, 2025 (~6 months). Responsibilities of this short-term contract include: Conceptualizing, writing, editing, and light designing of concept notes, proposals, grant reports, research memos, and event concepts for a wide range of philanthropic partners, in support of Seed’s partnerships team. Conducting donor research as needed, including crafting internal memos for leadership review and assessment of fit and viability. Qualifications for this role include: Deep experience and comfort writing and crafting persuasive content for a range of audiences, both technical and non-technical, especially for global health and development donors. Exposure to and knowledge of the global health landscape, with a focus on themes including health workforce; health systems strengthening; sexual, reproductive, maternal and neonatal health; pandemic preparedness; climate change and health, etc. Familiarity with project management cycles, and comfort with occasionally working with ambiguity in a fast-paced work environment. Availability for quick project turnarounds on tight deadlines. Highly collaborative and communicative style of working across teams. Estimated LOE is 10-20 hours per week, depending on project availability.
