Job Description
Selectek is partnering with a firm near Hampton, Georgia to hire a Mechanical Drafter/Designer on a direct hire basis. Candidates will design parts to be fabricated for a company that specializes in high-voltage switch products.
Expected Pay Range: $20-$27 per hour
Location: Hampton, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p
Job Duties:
- Prepare detail drawings for parts and equipment in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Create and edit bills of material for for assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Initiate changes in existing designs as assigned by Senior Designer or Application Engineers
- Create electrical, mechanical, and structural calculations associated with the drawing preparation
Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience OR entry-level BSME
- Proficiency with SolidWorks
- Experience with AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Solid mechanical understanding
