Mid - Senior Piping Designer / CAD Administrator (oil & gas) Englewood, CO or Housting, TX Be proficient with the following software: CADWorx Plant 2014, AutoCAD 2014, CADWorx Equipment 2014, CADWorx P&ID 2014, Navisworks 2014, ISOGEN, Microsoft Word 2013, Microsoft Excel 2013 through latest versions. Have an excellent understanding of AutoCAD 2014 onwards software (2D & 3D, paper space / model space, dynamic blocks, xrefs, layering, plot styles, AutoLISP's, ect ) Must have the ability to use and customize ISOGEN to conform with customer standards. Using CADWorx 2014 +, must have the knowledge and ability to create catalogues, projects, pipe specifications and custom shapes. Be able to diagnose and correct computer and CAD problems / issues. Able to operate a 3D scanner and create models from it. Other job Requirements: MUST have the knowledge of what is required to design and draft a piping project from start to finish. Be a self-starter, manage your time well, and be able to work with little to no direction. Have a good working knowledge of upstream (well sites), midstream (pipe lines), and downstream (refineries) oil and natural gas operations. Ability and knowledge to set-up, maintain, and document company drafting and design standards. Also be able to understand and apply the customers drafting / design standards to drawings and models as required. Make Site Plans, Equipment Plans, Piping Plans and Elevations, Piping Isometric Drawings, P&ID's, and 3D Models. Must be willing to: Make frequent trips to the field to gather information on existing sites. Light lifting (less than 50 Lbs.), the ability to climb ladders, steep stairways, and work on elevated platforms (no fear of heights) is definitely required.
