We are seeking a Sr Media Buying Analyst – Paid Social & Paid Search to join our team. This is a hands-on , performance-driven role for someone with deep expertise in setting up, launching, and optimizing campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, and YouTube), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and Pinterest. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, ROI-focused, and experienced in leveraging custom audiences, retargeting strategies, and lookalike modeling to drive meaningful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end setup, execution, and ongoing optimization of paid media campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, YouTube), Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Build and test custom audience segments leveraging first-party data, pixel-based tracking, CRM uploads, retargeting pools, and lookalike models to maximize reach and conversion.
- Continuously analyze performance data to optimize campaigns for ROI and ROAS, adjusting bids, budgets, creatives, and targeting strategies in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, analytics, strategy) to develop full-funnel acquisition strategies and ensure cohesive messaging across platforms.
- Conduct A/B testing on ads, landing pages, and audience segments to drive continuous improvement and learning.
- Develop and maintain campaign performance reports and dashboards that highlight insights, opportunities, and next steps.
- Stay informed on platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry trends to proactively evolve campaign strategies.
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Paid Search and Paid Social within the agency, providing guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Partner with leadership on media strategy development and media planning for key accounts.
- Mentor junior analysts and buyers by sharing best practices, providing feedback, and helping to level up the team’s performance.
- Participate in client calls and presentations, clearly communicating campaign performance, strategic recommendations, and growth opportunities.
- Contribute to new business efforts as needed, including creating media plans, performance projections, and paid media POVs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on campaign management experience across Paid Search and Paid Social platforms, specifically Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Proven track record of delivering high-ROAS campaigns and optimizing for performance at scale.
- Deep understanding of audience segmentation, funnel strategy, conversion tracking, attribution, and platform-specific algorithms.
- Comfortable working with data—experience using platforms like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Excel/Sheets for analysis and reporting.
- Clear communicator with strong client-facing presentation skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and loves solving complex performance challenges.
- Experience mentoring or managing team members is a strong plus.
- Bonus: Familiarity with additional digital channels such as programmatic display or affiliate is a nice-to-have.
