ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a concept-driven Graphic Designer with a strong passion for design, typography, fashion and photography to join our in-house Creative Team. The ideal candidate possesses impeccable visual problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. As part of the Creative Team, you will contribute to a wide range of global marketing initiatives, including advertising, invitations, catalogs, collateral materials, and content for digital, print, and social platforms. You will work closely with the Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer to bring the brand’s creative vision to life. This role requires exceptional design skills, a refined aesthetic sensibility, and the ability to generate fresh, innovative ideas in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across teams while also being a proactive self-starter with strong time management skills. Additionally, you should be a confident communicator, capable of articulating creative concepts to leadership with clarity and enthusiasm. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer to develop creative assets while ensuring consistency with MARLI branding across various customer touchpoints, including advertising, press materials, CRM, social media, visual merchandising, collateral, packaging and specialty projects. Design and produce high-quality print and digital materials, ensuring files are properly prepared for both print and digital formats. Maintain and update brand guidelines, presentation decks and design templates to ensure consistency and functionality. Research and propose innovative design concepts, trends and creative ideas to contribute to brand evolution. Uphold high creative standards and continuously seek innovative design solutions. Support the Creative team with file organization, archiving and other design-related tasks as needed. Efficiently manage multiple projects, adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines. Develop and maintain a library of photographers, stylists and emerging trends in design, photography and video. REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or visual arts. 3+ years of relevant experience in a design role, preferably in luxury retail marketing. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projects. Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to self-manage multiple projects with varying timelines and shift gears when goals and deadlines change. Energetic team player with a positive attitude who is an effective communicator and collaborator. Knowledge of design trends and principles. Familiarity with workflow and processes within a creative team. EXTRA CREDIT:
