The Center for Broadening Participation in computing is seeking an Assistant Social Media Content Developer to create flyers, infographics, words of affirmation illustrations, and other digital content. As assigned, the selected individual will provide the content to the Center's Social Media Manager for review, editing and posting.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate flyers, infographics, images, text, videos for review, editing and posting by the Center's Social Media Manager.Complete assigned projects by deadlinesCollaborate with the Social Media Manager on Content Development CalendarAssist Social Media Manager with branding schematics and themes for digital contentImplement graphic design best practices when constructing contentStay up to date with social media trends to amplify digital content and notify Social Media Manager of relevant shifts and changesCreate variations of digital content to optimize the specific affordability of each social media platform

Specific QualificationsWorking Knowledge of Social Media platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etcWorking Knowledge of image, video and audio editing platformsKnowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC, InDesign and Photoshop preferredKnowledge of graphic design best practicesKnowledge of social media analyticsAbility to complete creative tasks within a short turnaround time
