Your key responsibilities As a Senior Data Architect, you will define and execute deliverables, manage project statuses, and engage with clients daily. You'll support sales opportunities and assist with RFP responses, maintaining engagement economics and resource planning. Expect regular travel as needed by our clients. Skills and attributes for success To succeed in this role, you'll need a blend of technical abilities, business acumen, and professional skills. We're looking for candidates who can manage relationships, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and IT teams) to define data requirements, design solutions, and implement data architectures that align with our clients objectives.

Organize and lead workshops and design sessions with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and cross-functional partners, to capture requirements, understand use cases, personas, key business processes, brainstorm solutions, and align on data architecture strategies and projects.

Hands on logical and physical data modelling design, develop, and maintain data models and data pipelines.

Conduct data modelling and design reviews, striving for improved usability and efficiency.

Design blueprints for data extraction and basic transformations.

Write SQL scripts and stored procedures, optimize and tune SQL queries for performance and efficiency.

Design, implement and maintain data security and access controls.

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

Participate in presentations and proposals for highly complex projects.

Apply broad policies and personal knowledge to guide decisions

Resolve complex issues with in-depth evaluation of variable factors

To qualify for the role, you must have A Bachelors degree in STEM

3+ years of experience in Data Architect role designing and building complex data solutions in support of business analytics, data science, software development and data engineering.

2+ years of experience with native cloud products and services such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

Understanding of data design patterns such as Data Fabric, Data Mesh and Data Vault.

Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions.

Experience in creating reliable solution plans in cooperation with business and multi-disciplinary teams, including costs estimation and delivery approaches.

Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues related to regulations, industry practice and new application technologies.

Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.

Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.

Must be a team player and enjoy working in a cooperative and collaborative team environment.

Adaptable to new technologies and standards.

Excellent SQL development skills and good understanding of scripting.

Excellent understanding of data modelling techniques.

Ideally, youll also have Experience in at least one of Telecom, Media, and Technology industries.

Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $105,100 to $192,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $126,100 to $218,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
