You'll play a key role in designing intuitive, impactful solutions that leverage AI to provide unparalleled insights and experiences-setting a new standard for the financial services industry. This role offers the opportunity to impact every stage of the product development lifecycle and is a high impact IC role reporting to the Chief Design Officer.
Role is located in Boston and the candidate is expected to work in-office four days per week.
What you will do
- Research and define UX strategy, contribute to the overall product and design direction from a concept to implementation
- Develop creative and innovative design solutions for product education and purchase experiences that help guide various types of customers from different backgrounds and with different requirements
- Constantly measure how designs are performing for target customers; iterate and improve those experiences as needed
- Work in a highly collaborative fashion with engineers and other partners; invest in building relationships and trust with stakeholders
- Present work to partners, stakeholders and senior leaders regularly
- Advocate for consistency across team members and partners
What you'll bring:
- BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications
- 10+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)
- An excellent portfolio showcasing user experience, visual design and UI work with a strong design sensibility and excellent, user centric storytelling
- Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills, ability to think through complex interaction design
- Customer-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncover customer insights
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently but also collaborative and driven by group critique
