About The Role + Team The Product Brand Experience Team is a product brand pillar within our Platform Design Systems Team. We sit at the intersection of brand and design systems and are responsible for crafting memorable and engaging in-product experiences that reflect our brand ethos and design principles. We're on a mission to establish a brand design language that is woven into the fabric of our design system, creating a sense of unity across our product portfolio. As Senior Visual Designer, you’ll drive the evolution of our visual identity, ensuring it resonates with users and aligns with our design principles. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in product design, marketing, brand, and engineering, you'll translate our brand’s DNA into engaging in-product experiences and directly shape the brand identity of our Platform Design System, delivering scalable, impactful design solutions across the product ecosystem. Core Responsibilities Define and evolve the visual language of our in-product brand, ensuring alignment with brand goals and consistency across all touchpoints, including color, typography, illustration, and iconography. Develop frameworks that balance consistency with flexibility, adapting brand elements across products and platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions effectively communicate the brand story and create engaging, recognizable user experiences. Your Experience and Skills 7+ years of professional visual design experience at an agency or in-house. 3+ years of experience in end-to-end product design, with a focus on creating brand-driven design systems. Expertise in visual design systems and brand architecture, with the ability to translate complex brand concepts into clear design solutions. A strong portfolio that demonstrates your strategic approach to visual design and your ability to solve design challenges effectively. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly and justify design decisions. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and other relevant software. Experience with animation tools like After Effects, Framer, or Lottie. Key Projects You'll Drive Developing an integrated visual system across our in-product design system ensuring a connective thread to our Cisco Brand. Creating visual design frameworks that enable consistent application across products. Designing systematic approaches to brand expression that reduce cognitive load.
