Hybrid, Plymouth, MN What You Will Do
Expertise in designer roles, systems, and tools. Provide strategic guidance on data systems, Agile PLM, engineering software, and tools to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Lead cross-functional system improvement projects, including documentation and training. Develop business cases for operational and financial improvements. Translate design rules into automation code for BOMs, modular designs, and outputs. Partner with IT to ensure system support, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with simulation and operations teams for model validation. Oversee software installation and workstation upgrades. Lead conflict resolution and foster team collaboration. Ensure safety policies are followed. Contribute to department budgeting. Apply lean principles for continuous improvement using DIMAC, Kaizen, and CI activities. What’s In It For You

AA degree in design/drafting + 12+ years of related experience OR BS in Engineering + 5 years of design experience. Expertise in AMSE Y14.5 standards. Strong communication skills. Proficiency with Excel, SolidWorks, DraftSight. Adaptability and ability to manage multiple demands. Leadership skills to empower others. Problem-solving and quality focus. Experience with lean methodologies and data systems architecture. Willingness to travel 15%. Responsible, dependable, proactive decision-maker. Preferred Qualifications
BS in Engineering with 5 years of design experience. Benefits
