Define and oversee the customer-led product marketing strategy practice for the organization. Partner with key brands, facilitating marketing strategies that benefit both companies and building strong relationships. Find opportunities for KMN and Base marketing amplification within our national brand partnerships. Craft and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target customers and differentiates us from competitors. Collaborate with Merchant and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches, from strategy and planning through execution and analysis. Build and lead a high-performing product marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities. Facilitate merchant leadership discussions to prioritize cross-category product support and key project campaign needs. Partner with Customer Strategy to assess, shape and influence the direction of our product strategy and help bring innovative products to market. Partner with Brand and Campaign teams to ensure product content in market is relevant and meeting the needs of our customers. Share critical product information with leaders throughout marketing, and represent all categories in executive leadership discussions. Additional tasks may be assigned. What Skills You Have
Required 12+ years Marketing Strategy or related experience, along with 5+ years managing large teams. Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive measurable results. Experience in influencing executive leadership and being a change agent for the organization. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and persuasively. Excellent cross-functional partner, able to ensure teams understand and follow brand guidelines. Experience managing and mentoring large marketing teams. Preferred Experience in strategy consulting or agency account or strategy roles.
