Vault49 LLC Creative Director New York , New York Apply Now Creative Director (Vault49 LLC, New York, NY): Ensuring excellence and effectiveness in response to client brief, including providing effective and creative design and illustration direction from conception to completion as required; Presentation of own and team work internally with clarity, conviction and a clear sense of why the work answers the brief provided; Staying current on market trends and research as it relates to branding, design and illustration and communicating it to other team members; Take leadership across projects and clients at the direction of Creative Partners; Demonstrate leadership, positivity, and the ability to inspire others in the studio with a passion for great design and to promote the vision and values of Vault49 both internally and externally; Contribute to Thought Leadership at Vault49, regularly contributing to editorial pieces, webinars and social content; and Confidently present the agency to prospective New Business leads, through confidently talking to our expertise and case studies and pitching outstanding creative ideas in paid pitches. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Strong knowledge of design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as Keynote; Understand 3D software, such as Cinema 4D; Experience leading, supporting and mentoring studio teams at the senior level; Experience creating a cohesive visual and thematic style for brands across print, digital, and web; Experience in art directing illustration-led design solutions; Experience in art directing photoshoots for packaging and campaigns; Experience managing multiple projects at once; Knowledgeable in sustainable packaging design solutions, including sustainable materials and printing methods; Strong knowledge of the packaging print processes and their technical limitations; Understand how to optimize designs for print including color conversion & profiles; Experience with pre-press, digital printing, or proofing; and Can produce mechanical files of designs for print deliverables. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Graphic Design or a related field, and at least five (5) years of experience as a Design Director or related occupation. Option to work from home on a hybrid schedule available. Salary range: $200,000.00 - $240,000.00.
