Biotechnology - Senior Director, Global Marketing.

My client is a mid-size global Biotechnology company in the NGS and Synbio space.

They are looking for a Senior Director of Global Marketing, reporting into the VP. This position is hybrid in either Carlsbad or San Francisco, 2-3 days a week.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Define target strategy based on customer and market requirements and solidify program strategy.
2. Lead a talented team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and data-driven decision making.
3. Oversee the creation of high-quality content (blogs, articles, white papers, case studies, etc.) that educates target audiences.
4. Manage the marketing budget and identify opportunities for maximizing ROI.
5. Work with product management, digital marketing, and the regional teams to direct the creation, execution, and evaluation of all global marketing programs & campaigns to drive revenue across our multiple channel mix including eCommerce, sales teams, and distributors.
6. Partner with Sales and other internal teams to ensure integrated marketing and sales efforts for lead generation and conversion.
7. Determine a cohesive event strategy plan incorporating the needs of each region - AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
8. Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements.

What You'll Bring to the Team

1. Bachelor's Degree. MBA or Master's Degree.
2. Proven track record of managing a broad range of marketing channels with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through e-commerce channels.
3. 10+ years of experience in marketing in the life sciences industry and the strong ability to grasp scientific and technology topics. Familiarity with synthetic biology, genomics, and next-gen sequencing space.
4. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
