About The Role
Rippling's rapid growth presents an exciting opportunity to develop HR practices and management capabilities that will support our high-performing G&A departments. We’re seeking a Manager, HRBP, to be a trusted partner to our G&A leaders and their teams, advising and coaching on all aspects of people management disciplines : Leadership Development, Performance Management, Organizational Design, Employee Relations, and more. This role is crucial in building Rippling's management capabilities by educating and training managers across our administrative functions.
With the company having tripled its headcount last year and continuing to grow, there is an excellent opportunity for impactful contributions. You will join an HR function that is in build mode, racing to meet the evolving needs of the business. This is an exciting chance to grow in a fast-paced environment.
This role is based in our San Francisco office, with the expectation to work from the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
What You Will Do
- Lead HR initiatives for our G&A departments, partnering with executives and managers to deliver HR programs, including performance management, management excellence programs, and compensation reviews.
- Coach and advise managers on complex HR matters, including sensitive employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and values.
- Guide managers on career pathing, leveling, and professional development to foster a culture of growth and performance.
- Manage day-to-day HR policies, processes, and programs, ensuring efficiency and compliance across G&A functions.
- Design, plan, and execute various central and departmental initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Track and analyze key indicators of organizational health and recommend strategies for improvement within G&A departments.
What You Will Need
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 1 year of experience as a people manager.
- Advanced knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, with a focus on business partnering, HR program development, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management.
- Experience supporting G&A functions and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within administrative departments.
- Strong project management skills, a deep sense of accountability and ownership, and an outstanding customer-centric orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to think systemically and holistically, analyzing complex HR challenges and providing integrated solutions.
- Proficiency in operating both tactically and strategically, adept at managing day-to-day HR operations while contributing to long-term organizational planning.
- Tech-savvy, with a natural inclination towards leveraging technology to enhance HR processes and drive innovative solutions.

The pay range for this role is :
140,000-215,000 USD per year (San Francisco Office)
