Volt is hiring for a hybrid Senior Marketing Data Analyst in Santa Monica, CA vicinity. (Must be in the Los Angeles, CA vicinity)
As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst you will:
Support the marketing team by managing data quality, data ETL pipelines, creating impactful dashboards, and analyzing complex datasets to uncover insights and support data-driven decision-making for mobile games. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical skills, a passion for gaming, and extensive experience in marketing analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
ETL Development & Maintenance:
• Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines with our data engineers to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (internal and third-party platforms).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability to support business needs.
Dashboard Creation & Reporting:
• Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau and Looker to provide stakeholders with real-time performance insights.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
In-Depth Analysis:
• Conduct deep dives into marketing data to identify performance trends, audience behaviors, and opportunities for optimization.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Act as the data expert for the marketing team, collaborating with data engineers, UA managers, and product teams.
• Present findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
This is a full-time 6-month hybrid contract opportunity in Santa Monica, CA with the possibility to extend.
The ideal candidate must have:
• 4+ years in data analytics with a strong emphasis on ETL, dashboards, and marketing analytics.
• Proven experience working with data in the mobile gaming or digital advertising industry is a plus.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Airflow and ETL tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Advanced skills in data visualization platforms like Tableau or Looker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics (ROAS, CPI, CAC) and user behavior tracking.
• Experience with attribution tools such as AppsFlyer or Singular.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to convey insights effectively.
• Strong project management and collaboration abilities
Pay Rate $75.00-$80.00/hr Depending on Experience
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
