Overview
As a member of the UCLA IT Services team, the Senior UI Front End Developer will initially be assigned to the Enterprise Faculty Information System (Opus) project and will have responsibility for the application development life-cycle from initial design through implementation and integration. Typical duties include facilitation and participation of JAD sessions, functional analysis, design of complex to extremely complex applications, and comprehensive testing such as unit, systems, integration, user acceptance, and load balancing tests to ensure proper functionality and system performance. The Developer will work closely with business, information, and technical architects and requires the ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels. The incumbent will also have responsibility for hands-on development of applications and guiding the efforts of less experienced programmers.

Required Experience with UI for large enterprise applications, organizing/structuring large projects, assessing technical needs, knowledge, and experience with the latest web technologies, choosing appropriate technologies and tools as appropriate for our project, comfortable setting standards, methodologies, and process. MVC for front-end development (Angular JS, others) JSON AJAX Experience mentoring, teaching, and leading other developers Front-end performance tuning Testing Preferred DataTables SASS Additional Information ****COMMUNICATION Skills is very important to the client.
