Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, web application using server-side Java and XHTML.
• Design, develop RESTful web services using Java Spring framework.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java/Kotlin.
• Collaborate with QA to define automation testcases
• Collaborate with PO to define system requirements, specifications, and ensure end-to-end integration.
• Manage deployments to stage and production environments
• Document system architecture/topology, technical plans/designs, and system use/test instructions.
• Supervise off-shore development team and provide necessary technical leadership, when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications • Proficiency in Java/Kotlin. • Strong server-side front-end development experience with XHTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Thymeleaf • Strong operational experience with AWS services. • Proficiency in MySQL, including database design, query optimization, normalization, and performance enhancements. • Super comfortable with Git , Gradle and tools like JIRA, Confluence etc. • Ability to collaborate effectively with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot embedded systems.
Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. • Must have hands-on multi-year experience in running a commercial web application/services, monitoring it, and debugging and resolving operational issues. • Exposure to DevOps practices a plus
This is a 6-month full time contract position with option to convert to a permanent employee.
