Permanent Part-Time Minister of Music Position
Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church
Arp, Texas
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and lead morning worship in a blended style that includes hymns from the Baptist Hymnal as well as contemporary choruses each Sunday morning (10:40 a.m. Service Time).
- Lead the Praise Team/Band Ensemble (Approximately 12-15 total members) and conduct practice from 9-9:30 a.m. before Worship Service.
- Prepare and lead P.M. Worship with primarily Hymns and other chorus music (6 p.m. Service Time).
- Prepare music and conduct practices for Adult Choir in Choir Suite either each Sunday afternoon or Wednesday after Bible Study (per preference).
- Guide and supervise 2 children’s choirs and leaders of those choirs (Each will sing once a month in A.M. Worship).
- Work with Senior Pastor in all other special services as directed.
Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.
Position Structure: This position is designed for it to be compiled all on Sunday (on site) if so desired by applicant.
