Lead the design and development of baby and toddler apparel for both boys and girls, covering newborn to toddler sizes. Research trends, fabrics, trims, colors, and silhouettes to create compelling and marketable designs. Develop seasonal collections in alignment with brand and licensing requirements, ensuring differentiation across product lines. Create detailed tech packs, including sketches, specifications, and construction details, for overseas vendors. Collaborate closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure product feasibility, costing, and timely execution. Manage fittings and oversee revisions, ensuring high-quality standards in fit, fabric, and construction. Maintain awareness of competitive market trends and consumer preferences. Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in baby/toddler apparel design, preferably with experience in both boys' and girls' categories. Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrications, and safety regulations for infant apparel. Experience working with licensed brands and adhering to brand-specific guidelines. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM software. Excellent sketching ability, both hand-drawn and digital. Strong knowledge of trend forecasting, market analysis, and competitive shopping. Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Job Details: Full time in office Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr, depending on experience.
