Position Summary: As Mustela US Brand Marketing Director, you will lead the development and execution of Mustela's marketing strategy in the US, driving brand awareness, market share growth, and customer engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing 360 integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, influence, content marketing, public relations, and retail partnerships. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a passion for building brands and a strong understanding of the US consumer landscape. This position reports to the Vice President Marketing, Mustela and Babo Botanicals.

Job Responsibilities
(include but are not limited to): Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy, aligned with overall business objectives, including budget allocation and performance tracking. Maintain and strengthen Mustela's brand identity and positioning in the US market, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation across all touchpoints. Manage a cohesive brand image, content and tone of voice across all customer-facing channels. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and inform marketing strategy development. Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including influencer marketing. Translates marketing objectives into paid advertising strategies to implement in partnership with the Digital & Ecomm team. Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that engages target audiences, builds brand authority, and drives traffic to Mustela's website and retail partners. Ensure content is consistent with brand messaging, drives engagement and conversions. Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with key marketing initiatives and product launches. Manage public relations efforts, including media outreach, influencer collaborations, and event participation, to generate positive brand coverage and build relationships with key stakeholders. Identify and prioritize partnerships that not only align with Mustela's values but also push boundaries and capture the attention of our target audience Collaborate with the sales Team to develop and execute retail marketing programs that drive sales and brand visibility in-store and online. Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring ROI and efficient resource allocation. Fosters a collaborative and high-performing environment within the marketing team and cross-functional teams. Track and analyze marketing campaign performance and investments, providing regular and detailed reports to the VP of Marketing and to the Global Marketing team, and making data-driven recommendations for optimization. Collaborate effectively with sales, product development team, and HQ Marketing Brand Experience Team in France to ensure consistency and to seamless execution of marketing campaigns. Manage and mentor the Content and Influencer Marketing Manager in partnership with the Senior Brand Manager for Babo Botanicals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive Marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, preferably in the beauty, skincare, or consumer goods industry. Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience to operate at a leadership level with the ability to both mentor and manage. Experience in a beauty role, preferably in skincare (preferred) Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for the baby and children's skincare market is a plus. Ability to commute to the New York City office at least one day per week and as business needs dictate. Strong interest in Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability is highly desired. B Corp experience is a plus. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; the company is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role.

Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. Fluency in French a plus.
Compensation & Benefits: Our competitive compensation and benefits package includes the following:
Salary range of $115K-$140K based on job-specific knowledge, education, skills and depth of professional experience.
