The Senior Manager of Training and Content is responsible for developing programs for eCommerce Customer Service and ePromoter employees, ensuring proper rollout and execution. This role involves leading a team to gather information, research, create training materials, and coordinate with partners. Role and Responsibilities
Manage a team to develop and update training procedures, manuals, guides, and materials. Monitor and evaluate training activities and effectiveness across all BPOs and internal teams. Assess training needs via surveys, discussions, and consultations. Collaborate with department leads and stakeholders to develop training solutions. Create diverse training formats: self-directed, instructor-led, role-plays, simulations, videos, gamification, etc. Facilitate training sessions with managers and external teams. Oversee Content Managers to update the knowledge base. Manage project and learning tools like JIRA and training portals. Track training requests and maintain a training calendar. Identify low-performing areas using data analytics to develop targeted training. Minimum Qualifications
BS degree preferred with 8+ years’ experience in Instructional Design and Training supporting Customer Service or Sales. Alternatively, 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree. Knowledge of curriculum design, teaching methods, and training evaluation. Attention to detail and ability to simplify complex concepts. Unique skills or passions (e.g., videography, graphic design, gamification). Willingness to learn and adapt quickly. Ability to work independently and manage vendor training groups. Knowledge of strategic planning, resource management, and management principles. Familiarity with media production, communication, and dissemination techniques. Experience with applications like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Cornerstone, Adobe Captivate, MyAbsorb.
