Summary: As a Senior Project Manager, within the Event Communications Team, you will work closely with the Event Marketing and Communications teams to plan, organize, and execute event-related marketing projects from conception to completion. This role requires strong relationship-building skills to establish credibility, trust, and respect across cross-functional teams, including Lifecycle Marketing, Creative, and external agency partners. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring seamless execution of event communications, including promotional campaigns, content development, and post-event follow-ups. Your ability to work as a strategic problem solver and a detail-oriented executor will be critical in ensuring the success of event communications that drive engagement, attendance, and audience retention. Professional Project Management certification is highly valued Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with direct experience in event communications, marketing, or operations required. Experience in coordinating marketing campaigns and content production within an event-driven environment. Previous experience managing email campaigns, audience segmentation, and event registration workflows is a plus. Strong ability to lead, influence, and drive project outcomes across cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly. Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring all deliverables meet high-quality standards. Experience with project management software-Workfront experience is highly valuable; additional experience with Jira is ideal. Knowledge of email marketing platforms, CRM tools are a plus. Additionally, this role includes daily coordination tasks, ensuring that event communications run smoothly by managing schedules, tracking project progress, and supporting executional needs. Project & Timeline Management: Prioritize, assign, and oversee daily tasks and activities across project teams to ensure the timely execution of event communication strategies. Develop and manage project plans, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule. Coordinate deadlines for event marketing assets, including emails, social posts, landing pages, and registration flows. Maintain and update project trackers to ensure all stakeholders have visibility into key milestones. Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across marketing, creative, and event teams. Work with third-party agency partners to deliver event-related marketing campaigns on time. Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between the Event Communications team and other departments related to project deliverables. Campaign Execution & Optimization: Manage the execution of event communication workflows, including email campaigns, social promotions, landing pages, and attendee engagement initiatives. Ensure seamless integration of messaging across multiple touchpoints, including pre-event, live-event, and post-event follow-ups. Coordinate content approvals and asset reviews with key stakeholders. Daily Coordination & Task Management: Maintain up-to-date status reports on all event communication deliverables. Track content production, ensuring deadlines for copy, design, and development are met. Schedule and facilitate project meetings, taking notes and documenting action items. Assist in drafting project briefs and distributing relevant information to teams. Monitor email performance, engagement metrics, and registration trends to identify opportunities for optimization. Process & Technology Enhancements : Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in event communications. Support automation and personalization initiatives to optimize audience engagement. Ensure project documentation, frameworks, and workflows are properly maintained. Communication & Risk Management: Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and escalations, with a focus on detail and clarity.
