Salaried (Exempt) Summary/Objective: The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Media. The position will work closely with the Associate Director, Digital Marketing Media, to manage the production and creative development of videos relating to Academy programs, events, and digital media. This includes, but is not limited to, content associated with the Academy, Academy Museum, Academy Collection, and the Oscars. You will play a crucial role in capturing and showcasing the vibrancy and innovation of the Academy through a variety of digital mediums. Leveraging your extensive experience in managing both physical and virtual productions, you will oversee the development and distribution of compelling digital marketing media content, including Academy-branded web series and Awards-related content. Essential Functions of the Job: Content Production and Strategy: Lead end-to-end production of digital marketing media for The Academy, including Academy programming, museum exhibitions and programming, Oscars-related content, and Academy promotional materials, ensuring they reflect The Academy’s standards for excellence. Generate and develop concepts for videos that engage audiences and support the institution's priorities, utilizing storytelling to enhance digital content's impact. Channel and Content Management: Assist in the management of both The Academy and Oscars YouTube channels. This includes overseeing content creation, SEO strategies, and subscriber growth. Oversee digital content production across various platforms, ensuring high production quality and adherence to brand identity. Project Leadership and Collaboration: Organize and lead cross-departmental teams, managing video production schedules, workflows, and deliverables. Work collaboratively with teams across the organization on technical planning and execution, including "run-of-show" arrangements and production run-throughs. Coordinate with stakeholders for internal approvals, quality controls, and creative signoffs. Operational Management: Develop and refine production workflows, managing both in-house and freelance production and post-production crews. Handle digital video management in coordination with the IT team, including file management and digital rights. Assess and optimize current workflows, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and output quality. Strategic Influence and Advocacy: Contribute to the ideation and filling of content calendars, leading weekly status meetings to align team efforts with strategic goals. Build and maintain strong relationships within the Academy and with external stakeholders to produce high-profile projects. Advocate for accessibility and inclusion in all public-facing content, ensuring a diverse range of voices and stories are represented. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in film or a related field is required. 5+ years of video production and development experience, preferably in digital media. Strong project management skills – the ability to drive schedules and production deliverables from start to finish. Editing experience using professional software like Adobe Premiere and After Effects or similar. Familiarity with video strategies and creative needs specific to social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Previous experience contributing to the creative development of content. A proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple project stakeholders and on different types of video content. A proven ability to work under tight deadlines and facilitate quick turnarounds on projects. Solid portfolio/reel demonstrating cinematography, video editing, and motion graphics skills. Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign is a plus. Required Vaccination:

The expected salary range for this role is $85,000.00-$95,000.00. The actual base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law.
