C2's client, a dynamic global software company, seeks a communicative and pro-active Multimedia Designer to elevate its brand and product lines through innovative B2B marketing efforts. This position requires experience in animation, digital design, video editing, and graphic design. Duration: Full-time, Direct Hire
Location: Hybrid, with two in-office days/week, Milwaukee
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, based on experience
IDEAL CANDIDATE
You’re a articulate, organized and collaborative hands-on multimedia professional with a knack for conceptual thinking and execution. You excel at building an internal "brief" for assigned projects, doing great discovery to ensure you understand the assignment. You enthusiastically concept and create engaging content, have a sharp eye for digital design, and can manage simple animations and video editing with ease, alongside a dash of graphic design and production skills for trade show and print materials. If you’re motivated by creative growth and brand elevation, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Animation & Video:
- Create engaging B2B content, including animations and videos for social media, trade shows, sales materials, websites, and digital channels
- Conceptualize and execute video projects, including storyboards, scripts, editing, and incorporating audio elements
Digital Design:
- Develop captivating digital assets like web banners, infographics, and social media graphics, adhering to brand standards
- Create templates as needed for efficiency and consistency
Graphic Design:
- Contribute to design needs, including print materials, presentations, and trade show graphics
- Develop tools or templates to streamline marketing efforts
Brand Elevation:
- Bring fresh, on-brand ideas that enhance the company’s visual identity and product positioning
Collaboration & Proactive Engagement:
- Take initiative to look ahead, plan and prioritize projects in collaboration with marketing and product teams to ensure outstanding and timely execution
- Connect with target audience and influence increased conversion with better visuals
- Take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
Quality Control:
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed expectations while adhering to brand guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 2+ years in multimedia design or related fields, with a portfolio showcasing animation, video editing, and digital design (B2B experience preferred)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools
- Design Expertise: Strong grasp of layout, typography, color theory, and design principles for print and digital platforms
- Conceptual Thinking: Ability to translate complex ideas into engaging multimedia content
- Brand Savvy: Experience working within brand guidelines and pushing them forward responsibly
- Collaboration: Comfortable presenting ideas, incorporating feedback, and collaborating with stakeholders
- Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts clearly
