General Responsibilities:
The Senior Marketing Business Partner leads marketing development within the western United States for Terracon, covering Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. A member of the national marketing team, they report to the CMO and focus on elevating regional marketing practices, including pursuit development, event strategy, research, and digital marketing. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on support, guiding marketing professionals in communications, proposal execution, and program development, ensuring marketing excellence and consistency across the company.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Build relationships with marketing and client development teams, advising on tools, best practices, and resources such as marketing collateral, PR, CRM, and digital campaigns.
Oversee consistency efforts in Operations, including quality control, onboarding, training, and leadership development.
Communicate growth strategies and marketing tactics developed at the national level to regional and local offices, acting as a strategic partner for marketing professionals and senior leaders.
Collaborate with the corporate marketing and communications department to leverage resources in digital, PR, and graphic design, providing direction to produce impactful materials.
Partner with Operating Group client development teams on pursuit strategies, proposal development, interview coaching, and mentorship, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Train, coach, and mentor teams on pursuit coordination, team building, and goal management to increase success in major projects.
Develop and drive regional marketing plans aligned with business and growth objectives in collaboration with Operations leadership.
Serve as a subject matter expert and quality reviewer for pre-sell materials, statements of qualifications, and presentations.
Promote continuous improvement in project and process quality, monitoring standards and practices.
Champion initiatives related to client development and marketing, staying current with industry trends and research to provide regional market insights.
Organize and track national thought leadership and award efforts.
Understand project risks and adhere to company risk policies to mitigate potential issues.
Assist the M&A team with marketing perspectives and lead marketing tasks in acquisition integrations.
Lead safety efforts to ensure a safe work environment, modeling safety practices and promoting pre-task planning.
Requirements:
Candidates must reside within one of the states in the western territory listed above.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, with 12 years of related experience; or a minimum of 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Master's degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred Certification:
Certified Professional Services Marketer
This position is categorized as a "Remote Only" role, with employees working from home or another location without a designated office workspace.
The salary range is $101,200 - $156,900, with final compensation based on qualifications and experience.
