Job Description:
Summary:
The Registered Polysomnographic Tech performs specialized
Neurodiagnostic/Pulmonary procedures such as, but not limited to,
Polysomnograms, MSLTs and titration of either CPAP or BiPAP which
are utilized in providing diagnostic information regarding the
patient's neurological and/or pulmonary function during sleep. The
Tech will be able to perform evaluation and treatment to patients of
all ages, neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Requirements:
Preferred graduate of an accredited Polysomnographer program.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid and active Registered Polysomnography Technologist licensure in appropriate state AHA BLS required Registered sleep technologist through BRPT (Board of Registered Polysom Technologists) or through the ABSM (American Board of Sleep Medicine)
Work Requirements:
Shift: Night
On Call: No
Weekends: Rotating
Travel Required: No
