This is a 03+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Manhattan, NY (Remote with travel). Key Responsibilities:
Assist in gathering research on current and future color trends in the intimates, fashion, and lifestyle markets. Hands-on work including color matching, physical palette creation, and organizing the department resources. Track seasonal color by reviewing trend forecasting reports, fashion shows, and competitor product offerings. Help prepare reports in InDesign and Photoshop. Assist in managing color sample requests and organizing swatches for design meetings. Collaborate with other team members to ensure research aligns with the broader brand initiatives. Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Skills-Concept Designing, Intimate Apparel Experience, and Color Theory and palette information. A passion for fashion, color, and trends. Strong attention to detail with a good eye for color and design. Understanding of color theory and its application in fashion. Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Strong communication and organizational skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about the color process. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in fashion research or design. You’ll gain valuable experience working alongside a creative team, helping to shape the color direction of our upcoming collections.
