About Levo: At Levo, we are on a mission to enhance clinician engagement and retention through real-time feedback and actionable insights. Design is integral to our company, and we prioritize creating intuitive, minimal, and clean experiences for our users. As our first full-time UI/UX Designer, you will directly shape our product and user experiences, making a measurable impact on our mission to elevate clinical work in healthcare.

What You’ll Do: Your design work will primarily focus on creating sleek, intuitive features for our users. Here are some recent and upcoming projects that you would be involved in:

• Automating manager workflows to ensure speedy resolution to clinician concerns.
• Integrating AI into hiring workflows to streamline staff recruitment and onboarding.
• Developing forecasts of employee headcount to assist senior executives in strategic planning.

Levo is a software tool facilitating clinical planning and operations. You’ll design for three user personas:

• Clinicians, who utilize Levo’s tools to provide actionable feedback to managers.
• Managers, who track clinician feedback, resolve concerns, and engage with staff to enhance workplace satisfaction and retention.
• Executives, who leverage Levo’s analytics to gain high-level insights into workforce trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and make strategic decisions to optimize clinical operations and staff allocation.

What We’re Looking For: We’re firm believers in aptitude over experience and hire accordingly. We find that most successful candidates have the combination of experience, skills, and attitude described below:

• Design Expertise: A UI/UX designer with 3+ years of experience crafting user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure seamless implementation.
• User-Centric Design: A portfolio that highlights a strong focus on addressing real-world user challenges and delivering intuitive, impactful experiences.
• Operates like a Founder: Takes full ownership of their work, drives initiatives with a proactive and problem-solving mindset, and demonstrates pride in delivering high-quality results.

What Success Looks Like (30/60/90 Days): We value results and clear deliverables. Here’s what you will achieve in your first three months:

Within 30 Days:

• Onboard with our team, immersing yourself in Levo’s design principles and tools.
• Audit the current app and browser interfaces, identify key areas for improvement, and set prioritization for areas to tackle first.
• Have successfully completed at least (1) project in conjunction with founder, Jason Yu, and take ownership over design work needed by development team.

Within 60 Days:

• Develop a Design System document for Levo that standardizes design tools, workflows, and styling and present it to the team.
• Create and implement an action plan for updating Levo’s existing product suite to match the guidelines described in the Levo Design System document.

Within 90 Days:

• Update all active product features to align with Levo Design System document.
• Collaborate with Head of Data to create a Usage Analytics Dashboard to track usage and health of Levo’s product suite.

The Team: You will be our 9th hire and our first dedicated UI/UX Designer, working directly with:

• Founder, who has led all design work to date.
• Product Marketing, to align on product goals and priorities.
• Our development team, to ensure seamless implementation of your designs.
