Practice Overview The Technology Practice primarily focuses on assisting clients in making critical decisions about their technology strategies, while also providing support for implementing and optimizing new technology solutions. Our technology team is dedicated to providing clients with innovative and effective technology solutions that help drive business growth. Position Overview We are seeking a highly driven marketing technology manager with a track record of building, managing and delivering enterprise technology solutions. Experience should include understanding current client needs, identifying solutions, organizing a strategy around customer outcomes and delivering value back to our clients. As a key contributor for the Technology practice within Transparent, the Senior Manager must stay on top of the bleeding edge of marketing technology including emerging capabilities that will allow our customers to support the next generation of the marketing function. Responsibilities Technical Analysis Management
Be a primary subject matter expert on Marketing Organization business needs, marketing technology assessments, solutions design and project execution. Work alongside other Transparent teams (Data and Analytics and Accounts) to understand client needs to guide Transparent towards our client deliverables. Marketing Concepts & Systems
Support projects that assess the current state of client technology and data ecosystems. Formulate findings into client deliverables with analysis and meaningful implications. Technology Architectures
Evaluate Technology platforms, identify opportunities for additional Technology or the consolidation of Technology to drive client business value. Proactively lead project teams to assess the current state of client technology and data ecosystem. Define and communicate future state design concepts that address customer business and functional requirements. Requirement Definition and Analysis
Lead the collection and documentation of customer business and functional requirements to achieve expected deliverables defined in project scope. Deliverable Build
Lead other Transparent team members (Data and Analytics and Accounts practice) to understand client needs to guide Transparent towards our client deliverables. Contribute to deliverable creation and may own portions of content-building. Client Relationship Management
Play a client-service role by partnering with clients to become a trusted advisor, manage multi-disciplinary team work. Play a leadership role in establishing and exceeding client expectations. Work with Accounts management representatives to establish and exceed client expectations. Prospecting and Business Development
Support business development efforts in establishing new client partnerships. Organizational Development
Help maintain, inform and improve upon internal process flows and governance. Develop a deep level of trust across internal disciplines and contributing to the success of the work stream delivery. Play an active role in supporting advancement of Transparent internal goals to educate and advance our collective expertise. Contribute to Transparent’s branding and awareness efforts through content creation, social marketing and event participation. Position Qualifications
4-year college degree in related field (Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT Systems Management, Data and Analytics). 6+ years experience in planning and managing technology analysis and implementation at consultancies, technology providers, and/or client-side industry roles. Direct experience with the integration of marketing technology (e.g. CDP, CRM, ESP, DAM, DMP, MAP, CMS, DSP, TMS). Strong background and relevant experience leading, managing or implementing enterprise marketing technology integrations to deliver business value. Ability to take initiative and work in collaboration across internal teams, with external partners (brands, agencies and platforms) and customer representatives. Track record of successfully managing people and projects across functional teams for multi-dimensional, enterprise integration projects. Ability to quickly identify and understand broad business issues as well as the immediate urgencies that help shape the direction of strategic marketing initiatives. Strong communication skills – must be able to clearly articulate our approach and strategic recommendations in presentations with senior leaders. Must have demonstrated experience applying a consultative approach to solving complex challenges to deliver on measurable business results. Excellent leadership and team building/management skills; ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to external and internal stakeholders as well as the ability to influence others. Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 a year. The final compensation within this range will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate’s relevant professional experience, educational background, skill set, and overall alignment with the responsibilities and requirements of the role. Candidates who demonstrate significant experience, specialized expertise, or exceptional qualifications may be considered for compensation at the higher end of the range.
