Responsibilities:
Develop and execute product marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and drive market leadership.Define compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates OpenGov’s products in the marketplace.Ongoing ownership of pricing, packaging, and key messages to maintain the success of current products, and launch new products in the market.Manage a team of results-driven product marketing managers, including effective prioritization, coaching, and accountability.Partner with the enablement team to train field sales, customer success, and partner teams on messaging, key differentiation, and how to convey the value of OpenGov.Lead the go-to-market planning and execution for product launches and updates, working closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams.Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.Create high-impact marketing collateral, sales tools, and thought leadership content to support demand generation and sales enablement.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
8+ years experience in product marketing for B2B enterprise software companies.Strong people leader with a proven track record building and developing teams.Master story-teller able to distill complex technology into compelling messaging, positioning, and differentiation.Experience working closely with sales on enablement initiatives.Creative thinking and the ability to see where the market is headed before it gets there.Ability to drive alignment within marketing, across functions, and with senior leadership.Strong communication skills and ability to “own the room.”Project management skills to relentlessly drive initiatives and programs to completion.Cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to understand new markets, solutions, and other information quickly.
$140,000 - $230,000 a year. Other Compensation: Bonus eligible.The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.What makes OpenGov unique:»Leadership:
