The Senior Specialist, Digital Marketing-Automation plays a key role in driving engagement, conversion, and retention through marketing automation and database marketing strategies. The role requires hands-on execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns with a strong emphasis on email, SMS, web personalization, and retargeting within Eloqua.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Develop and execute multi-channel database marketing campaigns (email, SMS, web personalization, retargeting).
- Implement triggered messaging based on customer behaviors and preferences.
- Conduct QA and end-to-end testing for email templates, landing pages, and campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and other regulations.
- Marketing Automation & Technology Management
- Set up and manage campaigns within Eloqua (preferred) or other marketing automation platforms.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Work with HTML & CSS to refine and customize digital assets.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor campaign performance, including deliverability, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Analyze data using Google Analytics, Eloqua, and PowerBI to identify trends and opportunities.
- Conduct A/B testing and recommend improvements based on performance insights.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
- Partner with creative, brand, product, IT, and call center teams to optimize customer engagement.
- Coordinate with Institution Marketing, Analytics, and IT for campaign development and tracking.
- Support strategic planning and marketing innovation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing and Marketing Automation.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Eloqua (preferred) or similar platforms.
- Experience working with Salesforce (preferred).
- Basic proficiency in HTML & CSS (a plus).
- Background in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Exposure to multi-channel marketing strategies.
- Strong project management skills to handle individual tasks and team contributions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
Work Environment & Compensation:
- Location: Columbia, MD (On-site Monday-Thursday, Work-from-home on Fridays).
- Salary: $80,000 - $96,000
