Job Description Your Career As a Senior Staff Software UI/Frontend Engineer on the Netsec UI team, you will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and UI engineers to design and deliver innovative, clean, and performant UI solutions that empower security administrators. You will lead engineering best practices, mentor team members, architect, design, and develop application features, and introduce new tools and libraries to solve challenging technical problems. Your Impact Build high-quality, scalable React components that provide insights into firewalls and actionable solutions. Create components, libraries, and frameworks for a cohesive design system to develop consistent frontend applications. Identify problems and opportunities, proposing simple, attainable solutions to improve development and product quality. Establish and implement engineering best practices, including test-driven development. Foster collaboration among stakeholders to create an outstanding product. Qualifications Your Experience BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent, or military experience. Minimum 6 years of related programming experience. Expertise in web-based GUI development with ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Experience with modern web frameworks and tools such as React, Redux, Hooks, Webpack, Storybook, npm/yarn. Proficiency with CSS/SCSS, AG Grid, and visualization libraries like Highcharts and D3.js. Experience creating responsive web applications. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with senior and junior engineers. Experience with UI testing frameworks like Cypress, Jest, react-testing-library, Mocha. Familiarity with client-side build tools and CI/CD processes. Experience with Git, Linux environments, asynchronous programming, debugging, and root-cause analysis. Strong data visualization skills for impactful storytelling. Nice to haves include troubleshooting system integration issues, a GitHub portfolio, familiarity with micro frontend architecture, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, GCP experience, and working with Canvas & SVG. Additional Information The Team The NetSec UI team delivers UI solutions that are accessible, performant, and cutting-edge, focusing on UI and data visualization components. Compensation Disclosure Starting salary ranges from $147,000 to $195,000 annually, depending on qualifications and location. Compensation may include stock units and bonuses.
