Overview
We're looking for a Senior Strategist, Social Marketing & Strategy to join our team. You'll report to the Director, Social Marketing & Strategy and will push social creative strategy for our high-profiles CPG snack client
Only candidates in the New York City area will be considered as some in-office time is to be expected.
You're a collaborator who combines creative content ideas with smart social media strategies to achieve our goals. You'll manage other team members, and lead internal and client meetings. You'll deliver ongoing thought leadership to our teams and clients by identifying problems and finding solutions. You'll deliver briefs full of insights, inspiration and updates based on creative feedback and help translate that work into social creative. You know how to find the insight and when to implement it. You understand our client's industry and category, and have a POV after auditing industry examples and trends, such as memes, formats, cultural insights, and new social platforms. You'll partner with the creative team to push creativity and make sure it aligns with the strategy. You'll build knowledge on the macro/micro forces that influence our client's business. You're excited to wear multiple hats, including everything from client interaction to planning and calendars, to writing briefs, to helping create content. Qualifications
6 years minimum experience with organic and paid social, some of that at an advertising agency Bachelors in Advertising, Marketing or related field, required; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required Expertise in and love for the social space Excited by the internet, love that it's ever-changing, and understand how to apply this to clients Experience as the daily lead on client businesses and developing client relationships Experience managing and mentoring younger talent
Additional Information
The annual salary range for this position is ($78,000 - $126,500). Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
