As a Graphic Designer and Technical Writer, you will create a wide variety of marketing materials to promote our company's products through various media.
Essential Functions:
Design presentations for sales meetings, new product launches, and conferences
Ensure consistency in marketing themes and clear, concise presentation of information
Update and refresh customer presentations with new information (products, pictures, etc.)
Update product catalog with new design, products, pictures, etc.; work with engineers and other staff to obtain necessary information
Coordinate with printing company, website designer, and other vendors as necessary to complete marketing projects and materials
Generate cut sheets for new products and update existing sheets with new themes, information, etc.
Create and send email blasts to customers using Mailchimp; includes generating content, designing, and obtaining approval; unsubscribe recipients as requested
Create and publish ABS quarterly company newsletter (internal) including features such as CEO message, new product features, new hires, upcoming events, etc.
Update ABS website with new information, such as products page, pictures, job postings, page headings, and news page
Write press releases, articles, and abstracts
Create advertisements for print and web
Design logos for new products and collaborations
Create videos and post to the ABS YouTube page
Design booths, banners, and graphics for conferences and trade shows
Create brochures and update website for ABS Properties
Assist with themes, banners, invitations, books, etc. for company events
Skills & Qualifications:
Must be proficient in use of wide range of media and graphic design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, Movie Maker (or other video editing software); experience preferred using Illustrator or Inkscape
Excellent communication skills required with emphasis on exceptional writing ability
Must be able to think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas
Ability to work as part of a team to achieve a common goal
Must be organized, accurate, and detail oriented
Education & Experience
:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design and/or 3-5 years of graphic design experience required
